"In a full heart there is room for everything." -Anthony Porchia
With school ending and a few vacations under our belt, we have had a busy June and start to July in the Stringer household. Here are some highlights.
June 4thLOVING SEPHINE Fundraiser. A group of beautiful people from our church family got together and created the most marvelous evening of dinner and a silent and live auction in the name of Sephine. This event, full of worlds colliding, hugs, tears, love, laughter, incredible food and exceptional donations, was a huge success in every aspect. It was a memory that filled our hearts with so much joy. This event was an incredible gift in that we were able to set up a trust fund in Sephine's name because of it.
June 10th MRI and CT SCAN As each one of these scans comes and goes we are continually reminded of how nerve racking it is to wait for the results. Before we even left the hospital June 10th, Sephine's Doctor called and told us that everything still looks the same, which is an extraordinarily good sign. The whole family was with us that day, and with tears in our eyes, we felt full of energy as we left for our vacation only minutes later.
June 18th RED SOX GAME Fenway Franks, Cracker Jacks, French Fries, 7th Inning Stretch, Baseball! It was a pure summer evening. 80 degrees and from the picture you can see our seats knocked it out of the park. We were given amazing tickets to experience the game with our family on this evening. It was a highlight to our year we won't soon forget.
So with full hearts, we continue to dive into summer. Beaches, pools, lakes and ponds. Swimming like fish, riding our bikes, playing our games and filling our minds and hearts with memories.
